The feed offers an easy way to keep up with articles from The Sheriffs Office. They automatically update as stories are added - flagging up what's new as it's posted.

If these details are not included, The Sheriffs Office will no longer permit you to publish these articles on your website. What is RSS?
RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication. It's an XML file that can be read by special feed reading software or a web service you can use from your web browser. Put the address of one of our web feeds into your reader, and it will display the latest article and full story. It's quicker than revisiting a site several times a day to check for updates, and rather than having to look for new headlines, feed readers scan for updates and display them for you.
How to use RSS feeds?
To view our web feeds you need software called a feed reader or aggregator. Once you have installed a feed reader you can add The Sheriffs Office feed by clicking on the web feed link Setting up a feed differs from one aggregator to another, but it usually involves copying the URL of the feed (from the address bar on your browser) and pasting it into the reader.

Your web developer can use our RSS feed to add our articles to your website, so that our articles can be displayed to your site visitors. Many content management systems support plug-ins which can help automate this
